Our laboratory is a full service 24/7 operations laboratory which features some the industry's newest and most advanced testing instrumentation and comprised of the following departments: Blood Bank, Hematology, Chemistry, Special Chemistry, Microbiology, Serology, Blood Gas and Urinalysis. We also perform Drugs of Abuse and Breath Alcohol testing. We offer comprehensive and anatomic pathology testing services through Community Pathology Associates of Victoria, TX. an affiliate of Baylor College of Medicine. Our in-house testing includes a wide range of both routine and specialized tests appropriate for our center. We provide outreach services to physician offices with courier pick-up Mon-Fri and same day (STAT and routine) turnaround on most in-house testing. Results are sent by hard copy, fax or are available on-line through the Hospital network. Quality Assurance Our laboratory is accredited by CMS (Centers for Medicare and Medicaid) and CLIA (Clinical laboratory Improvement Amendment). All test results are monitored for reliability, precision, and accuracy through both internal and external quality control programs, by registered MTs and MLTs.
