The Dietary Department provides inpatient & outpatient, individual, and group nutrition education. All education & nutrition support is provided by the Clinical Dietitian. Education is a priority for the Dietary Staff. In-services are held monthly and as needed on topics such as patient diet, food preparation, equipment and food-borne illnesses, just to name a few. Patient safety is our number one priority.
A well balanced & very attractive meal will be provided three times a day, based on the direction of the physician. Food temperatures are taken for all meals from creation all the way to serving the patient or the community through the café.
We as a department also offer catered meals upon request. We continue to serve local organization such as Rotary Club, American Society of Safety Engineering (ASSE), The Lions Club, & Kiwani's. In 2013 we catered RE/MAX Realty Christmas Party. In 2012, 2013 and 2014 we catered Formosa Religious Trust Banquet, just to name a few.
During the months of June - October we offer fresh fruit cups and baked cookies in the afternoons for a low price to our staff and community.
Breakfast - 6:30 a.m. - 8:30 a.m.
Lunch - 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
The weekly Café menu can be faxed or emailed to any business or individual with a fax number or email. We currently fax our weekly menu to fifty-five local businesses and individuals.
